The breakfast had a good variety, including fresh orange juice and tasty pastries. The shower facilities felt cramped and might be challenging for larger individuals.

Arriving at night to this hotel was a bad idea, found it hard to find and it was nowhere near the town centre, especially not walking distance, busy roads and on the outskirts of town, didn't feel safe walking around at night, only stayed 1 night instead of the 2 we had booked. also we were 3 floors up and the fire escape was bloked by cleaning equipement etc.

Family with children should consider
The staff here were really helpful , very accommodating when we needed extra pillows. The breakfast was actually better than I expected, plenty of options to choose from.
It wasn't exactly inexpensive, but for a night, it was still acceptable.

Friendly staff, savoury breakfast, handy location near an Industrial Estate as well as Caen port by car. Bright rooms, clean bathrooms, exceptionally comfortable beds. Breakfast with fruit and ample coffee, as for instance...

It is a very cheap hotel, private parking for free. Excelent hotel for its price.

The room was small, and I was shocked to find no clean towels . After waiting for ages, I would have thought they might extend a complimentary gesture for all the inconvenience, but alas, nothing. I almost gave a good review, but just couldn't deal with the mediocrity.

Comfortable, clean room with a powerful shower. Convenient parking access with a code provided after check-in.
The room size felt cramped without adequate storage for clothes. No wardrobe or drawers. Limited dining options, especially with the restaurant being closed , and a lack of attention to cleaning and providing fresh towels.

Spent one night in the Carline as a stopover- the connecting rooms provided were perfect for a family with kids, allowing plenty of space and two TVs. As weary travellers at the end of our holiday, we decided to eat in the restaurant rather than venture out and the dessert buffet was a big hit with all.
The bedrooms and bathrooms are a bit tired and could do with updating.

Good location in Univeristy campus section of city; very good connection to city centre via TramWay, nearest stop 100 yards away; cost eur 1.20 for the 8 minute ride to the Castle. Hotel not far off peripherique so easy to find and good for onward travel. Restaurant in hotel appeared well used and popular; Buffalo Grill next door for those who like the steakhouse concept. Ample free car park space.

would want to stay there again
The room wassuper clean and cozy, equipped with air conditioning, a coffee machine, and a tv. The bathroom was spacious with a walk-in shower and fluffy towels. Breakfast had great options. Super nice team and even booked us a taxi into town. Close to a Buffalo Grill restaurant. Loved it!
